The British Library Sound Archive's Jazz collection holds discs, tapes and radio broadcasts of
the
earliest recorded jazz to the most modern free improvisation. The library also holds Kate and Mike Westbrooks personal tape archive.
National Jazz Archive
The archive
holds magazines, posters, letters, concert programmes, photographs
and memorabilia mainly about British Jazz. Kate and Mike Westbrook have donated a large amount
of their own material to the archive.
Jazz Institut Darmstadt
The Jazzinstitut Darmstadt is Europe's largest public research archive on jazz. It holds specialized books, periodicals, sheet music, records, photographs as well as posters and other memorabilia. Kate and Mike Westbrook have donated material to the archive.

Vocalist/Trumpet player Phil Minton has a long history with Kate & Mike Westbrook. From the early 1960's in the Mike Westbrook Orchestra to Solid Gold Cadillac, the Brass Band, and a much later Mike Westbrook Orchestra.
